Karen and Charles Phillips Charitable Donates to Marine Corps Family Services Unit for 2/10 Batallion

>Phillips Charitable provided a grant to the Family Services Unit of Second Battalion, 10th Marines of the 2nd Marine Division. The Family Services Unit provides assistant for the families of deployed and stateside Marines to assist when the challenges of Marine Corps life present tough obstacles.

Activated in 1918, 2/10 is an artillery battalion and has received numerous awards over the years including the Presidential Unit Citation Streamer in World War II 1943 for Tarawa on through to the Iraqi Campaign Streamer.

PCO Board Member Charles Phillips served in this unit as well.

Karen and Charles Phillips Charitable Organizations is a 501(c)3 non-profit that was created to provide timely financial aid for single parents, disadvantaged students interested in engineering, and wounded veterans.The PCO Board: Eric Garvin, Young Huh, Karen Phillips, and Charles Phillips.
