Mrs. Terry Hardin of Eddystone PA had the most difficult year any of us can imagine. Her husband Charles Hardin is a veteran suffering from severe stage 4 colon cancer and in a hospice. In addition, Mrs. Hardin’s son, SPC Kevin Hardin, U.S. Army, was killed in Iraq from shrapnel earlier this year.
The on-going medical expenses brought the Hardis to the brink of eviction and a series of other financial challenges. Mr. Hardin’s social worker and Veteran Service Office both spoke with PCO about the family’s challenges.
PCO provided a grant in recognition of Charles and Kevin’s service and sacrifice for their country.
